The CFIC was established in St. Elizabeth Church on July 12, 2016. Father Ramon Owera is the current Parish Administrator, and also serves as a chaplain and is involved in other hospital ministries throughout the Columbus and surrounding areas. Fr. John Mathew Vadakkettom was appointed by the bishop as Associate Administrator and as a hospital chaplain.
Saint Elizabeth Parish is a community of Catholic Christian believers providing an environment conducive to spiritual growth and supporting members’ needs. Spiritual needs are served by sharing sacraments and liturgy in the light of Scripture and Catholic tradition. Social needs are served by sharing fellowship with sisters and brothers in and beyond the community. Faith formation and intellectual growth are served by providing and receiving Christian education at all ages. Special needs of parish members and the community as a whole are addressed. Through words and actions, and guided by Christian concern, God is made known in homes, workplaces and throughout the world.
The community is currently made up of:
|Fr. Ramon Owera, CFIC, Superior and Parish Administrator||Fr. John Mathew Vadakkettom, CFIC, Parish Associate Administrator and Hospital Chaplain||Fr. Jesse Chi Chick, CFIC, Hospital Chaplain|
